Company Recertification To ISO 9001:2015

In October 2020, OKW Enclosures Ltd. (manufacturer of the METCASE brand) successfully passed its ISO 9001:2015 recertification audit. The auditors bsi particularly praised the successful implementation of OKW's ISO crisis management/risk assessment procedures during the current Coronavirus pandemic. This ensured uninterrupted supply of products and services to customers, in particular to medical electronics manufacturers working to produce vital equipment for the NHS.

The recertification confirms that all relevant quality criteria for the design, manufacture and distribution of plastic and metal enclosures are met and that the processes are carried out transparently and in accordance with the standards.

New Assembly Tool For UNICASE Enclosures

The new UNICASE assembly tool pushes the blue threaded nut holders into exactly the right horizonal position in the case assembly profiles. This aligns them perfectly with the top and base cover assembly screws every time. There are four screws on each side so the tool speeds up assembly times considerably. The new tool is ergonomically contoured so it is comfortable to hold. It is 3D printed from white PA 2200 (polyamide).
